Career Development |
Our goal is to empower each and every Truworth employee to constantly achieve excellence through the attainment of real-world business and technical skills, training, certification and unsurpassed experience. Training is an essential part of Truworth because we rely on the skills and initiative of our team to identify business practices, issues and trends, to isolate and resolve problems, to innovate in work methods, and to take responsibility for quality. After hired, new employees are put through an extensive regimen of on-the-job-training to hone their abilities. Throughout their career with us, employees undergo regular formal and informal training in order to continuously update and develop their skills.
We establish career paths for all employees which provide opportunity for everyone to be at the helm of the organization.
Team building is the process of building a good team out of a bad one. Knowing the difference between a group, a good team and a bad team is essential when building better collective performance, especially as team building with groups can be counterproductive.
The performance management results are used to identify the better performing employees who should get the majority of available merit pay increases, bonuses, and promotions.
And, in the same way, appraisal results are used to identify the poorer performers who may require some form of counseling. Continual feedback forms the basis of the Truworth appraisal process – be it from the manager, client or peer of the employee. This in turn leads to continuous improvement which is the overall objective of performance review.
Everyone wants to feel that they are on a winning team, that the company is moving ahead, and that they are an integral part of the group. Truworth believes in achieving its goals with the help of a winning team and thus, believes in making a winning team itself. |
